Parental Commitment

WE UNDERSTAND that Second Baptist Preschool will teach the Bible as the only fully trustworthy and, true guide for life.

WE UNDERSTAND that our children will be taught that salvation comes only through personally    receiving, Jesus Christ as saving Lord, and that each child will be encouraged toward becoming His disciple.

WE UNDERSTAND that each child will be encouraged to participate in personal Bible reading, study, prayer, and church as a regular part of their lives.

WE UNDERSTAND that Second Baptist Preschool will cooperate with our home by reporting the progress, of our child and by having conferences with us. We agree to support the school by our participation in the conferences and other programs, which pertain to our child.

WE UNDERSTAND and support the school’s role in carrying out discipline using appropriate measures including parent-administered discipline. We will cooperate with the school in determining means by which to bring about desired changes in the life of our child.

WE UNDERSTAND that children will be encouraged to perform to the best of their ability in all endeavors. We will provide the necessary support and will cooperate with the teacher in helping our child develop good study habits.

WE UNDERSTAND the need to set a good example for our children by being prompt, by supporting school policies, activities, and by supporting the classroom teacher. We will set a positive tone in developing attitudes regarding school.

WE UNDERSTAND our cooperation is expected in prompt tuition payments, practical help, and communication.

WE AUTHORIZE school officials to give permission to a doctor to provide emergency care if our child is injured or becomes seriously ill and we cannot be reached immediately.
