Janet Anne Nelson Eades

Janet Anne Nelson Eades, 68, of Hamlet passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center. She was born June 30, 1941 in Forsythe County, a daughter of the late William McKinley and Ailene Trivette Nelson. Janet was a long- time active member of Second Baptist Church of Hamlet until her health declined in recent years. Her memory will be treasured dearly by her family. She was in a loving marriage to Jack for 52 years and will be missed beyond words. She was a loving and supportive mother and introduced her four children to a relationship with Jesus Christ. They are eternally grateful and consider her witness, spirit, and devotion the most generous of blessings. Her granddaughters loved their “Nanny”. They brought great joy to her and she enriched their lives immensely. Over the years Janet served and sacrificed for God, family, and friends with a loving and tender spirit. She will remain in their memories and hearts forever as she abides in her Eternal Home.
